Overview
The new home for the Krause Group and its 800 employees includes the headquarters of Kum & Go Convenience Stores, Solar Transport, Des Moines Menace Soccer Team, and Italian wineries Viette and Enrico Serafino. MBJ provided steel connection design for the 160,000 square foot office building designed by world-renowned Italian architect Renzo Piano Building Workshop (RPBW) in collaboration with Iowa-based OPN Architects. With floor-to-ceiling glass façade and energy efficient design, the LEED certified building offers great views of the neighboring public sculpture park and the Des Moines skyline.
