Overview
Owned by the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey, the Newark Liberty International Airport (EWA) was ranked the 6th busiest airport by international passenger traffic and 15th busiest overall in passenger traffic in the U.S. in 2017. The following year, construction began to replace the 47-year-old, outdated Terminal A. MBJ is providing steel connection design services for this one million square foot terminal facility that will include 33 new gates.
