Overview

Flooded with daylight that enters through a skylight and floor-to-ceiling curtainwall on opposite sides, the 13,000 square foot sanctuary rises to a height of 58 feet. The glulam and wood-decking ceiling features exposed steel trusses and girders. Adding to the dramatic beauty of the space, wood-framed sections of organ pipes span the stage at the front of the worship area. Sloping pews on the main floor and in the column-free balcony allow worshippers a view of the activities. The narthex acts as both entryway and bridge between the worship area and a two-story classroom and office wing. The overall structure of the facility is structural steel with brick-faced masonry bearing walls.
