Overview

Hub on Campus Minneapolis is a 443,900 square foot mixed-use development consisting of a 26-story residential tower with ground level retail and integrated parking, located adjacent to the University of Minnesota East Bank campus and the University of Minnesota Medical Center. The concrete-framed tower contains 431 units, adding critical housing density to this transit-oriented neighborhood. Parking for approximately 380 vehicles is distributed over levels P1 through 6 of the tower. Residential amenities at Level 7 include a club room, fitness areas, exterior terrace space, and an outdoor pool. The project was delivered using a multiple bid package approach to procurement. Construction materials are primarily cast-in-place, post-tensioned concrete for the residential tower with cast-in-place concrete core walls providing lateral wind resistance. Foundations consist of high capacity drilled piers bearing on competent bedrock.
