MBJ’s Ben Helmer was recently named 2022 Inspiring Engineer by University of Minnesota Duluth’s Academy of Science and Engineering. Established in 2002 by Dean James P. Riehl, the Academy of Science and Engineering publicly recognizes distinguished alumni and special friends of Swenson College who have distinguished themselves through commitment and leadership in their chosen profession. It is the highest honor bestowed by the Swenson College of Science and Engineering. Since its inception, 81 members have been inducted into the Academy and this is the first year the College recognized Inspiring Scientists and Engineers.
