Located on 140 acres in Frederic, WI, a stunning two-story rental cabin called Nordlys MetalLark Tower is the Star Tribune/AIA Home of the Month winner! Placed on a slope nestled it into a line of trees, the upward lift of the cabin was not without its structural challenges.

In a recent interview with Star Tribune, Architect David Wagner of SALA Architects acknowledged the collaborative work of MBJ and the structural challenges solved by our team and Kirk Davis who served as Project Manager.

“I can’t give enough credit to Kirk,” said Wagner. “Everything that we talked about from an architectural and aesthetic standpoint, he helped us to manifest in real life.”
