As leader of MBJ’s Rochester office, Alan spearheads projects and business development efforts across southern Minnesota and neighboring states. With over four decades of experience spanning various structural materials including concrete, steel, masonry, and wood, combined with a deep knowledge of diverse delivery methods including design-build and CMAR, Alan brings a wealth of expertise to the team. As principal in charge, he oversees all aspects of structural design, project quality control, design review, and project management. Alan’s client-centered approach seamlessly integrates project goals with the client’s strategic vision, while focusing on constructability and efficiency to deliver optimal value for the owner.
