The new Lee and Penny Anderson Arena at the University of St. Thomas is taking shape, with ongoing steel and precast concrete installation bringing the main arena and seating areas into view after months of foundation work. MBJ is honored to serve as the structural engineer for this project, working in partnership with Ryan Companies, Crawford Architects, LeJeune Steel Company, Danny’s Construction Company, and Wells Concrete. When completed, the multi-purpose arena will be the home for Tommies’ Division I Hockey and Basketball teams and one of the nation’s most energy-efficient athletic facilities, targeting LEED Silver certification.
