Circular by Design

MBJ Associate and Structural Engineer Jeff Anderson recently presented at the Reuse Design Leaders Workshop: Steel Day, alongside Jake Benson of Kraus-Anderson, sharing insights on the Minneapolis–St. Paul International Airport G Concourse Infill Pods 2/3 project. Their presentation highlighted how structural steel can be successfully reclaimed and reused at a commercial scale to support more sustainable, circular construction practices. The session offered a behind-the-scenes look at MBJ’s role in material verification, coordination, and implementation strategies that make reuse both practical and cost-effective.
