We’re proud to announce that the Lakewood Welcome Center has received the Best Neighboring State Project Award in the SEAoI Excellence in Structural Engineering Awards Competition, recognizing innovative structural design and contributions that advance the profession. This project demonstrates how engineering integration and careful detailing were central to delivering a durable, net-zero civic building. Developed in partnership with Snow Kreilich Architects and Miller Dunwiddie, the Welcome Center serves as the new front door to Minneapolis’ historic Lakewood Cemetery, providing spaces for visitors, community gatherings, and family services.
