The University of St. Thomas Lee and Penny Anderson Arena is earning regional recognition as an ENR Midwest Best Project in the Sports/Entertainment category. Completed in collaboration with Ryan Companies and Crawford Architects, the 204,000-square-foot arena features variable structural systems supporting Division I hockey and basketball, concerts, commencements and other campus events. A fast-track design-build approach and innovative foundation solutions helped the team navigate an accelerated schedule and the constraints of a mature campus.
