With over four decades of experience as a structural engineer, Dan brings a wealth of expertise in a broad range of structural design systems, materials, and delivery methods as well as his keen skill in providing structural design solutions to unique challenges. As a design partner, Dan works collaboratively with team members from the project’s inception, identifying appropriate solutions, managing risks, and providing technical and business leadership to ensure best value and architectural design integrity. A Principal of the firm since 1982, Dan served as MBJ’s CEO and President from 1995 to 2021 during significant growth years for the firm. In his current role as Senior Principal, Dan remains dedicated to serving MBJ’s longstanding clients, cultivating new strategic partnerships, and mentoring emerging engineering professionals.
