As Managing Principal of MBJ’s Phoenix office, Kurt leads operations, projects, and business development efforts in Arizona and the Southwest region. Throughout his 38-year career, Kurt has worked with all types of structural systems across multiple market sectors. With a master of science in construction management, Kurt brings an understanding of alternate project delivery methods, integrated procurement, constructability and collaboration to his projects.  He has specialized experience with signature architectural structures, healthcare, science & technology, design-build/integrated project delivery, and ductile structure in high seismic zones.
